Who we are

This website is administered by The Word Gym Ltd at https://www.wordgym.com/ and hosted by IONOS in Germany. The site is intended to provide you with information about The Word Gym’s business activities and ethos.

If you choose to submit information to us voluntarily, you may do so by e-mail. In no case do we encourage you to supply more information than is necessary to establish a business relationship, and at your request we will immediately delete any such information that we may hold.

All personal data held by The Word Gym is governed by the European General Data Protection Regulation, as well as relevant UK legislation.

Media, cookies and content

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Otherwise visitors to the website could download and extract location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) hosted on another website (e.g. YouTube). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with any third parties. However if, as a visitor with login rights, you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset e-mail to the website administrator.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Your rights with respect to your data

If you have left comments, you can ask us to send you an exported file of any personal data we hold on you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold on you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
